Pamela A. Raab
Also a firm shareholder (partner), Pam concentrates her practice in the areas of corporate law and business transactions, representing start-up and privately‑held companies in general corporate matters, including choice of entity, corporate governance, contract negotiations, and employment matters. Moreover, Pam represents privately‑held companies in the organization, financing, sale, merger and acquisition of businesses. She also handles company restructuring, management buyouts and recapitalizations.
Ms. Raab also practices in the area of health care law, representing health care providers and physician groups in a wide range of matters, including joint ventures, reorganizations, health care contracting, HIPAA compliance, Medicare issues and various fraud and abuse matters. Pam also advises health care providers and physician groups on Red Flag Regulations and assists them in drafting and implementing Identity Theft Protection Programs.
Pam was the lead attorney responsible for bringing numerous clients into compliance with the final regulations under 409A of the Internal Revenue Code and continues to advise clients on all federal, state and local tax issues.
Prior to joining our firm Pam worked for a large regional law firm within its corporate, finance and capital markets department where she assisted on large business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending and general corporate matters.
In addition to receiving her J.D. at Widener University School of Law, Pam was awarded a Certificate in Business Organizations Law with honors for her concentrated studies in corporate law and finance.
